Sophia - Electress of Hanover Daughter of James I of Eng + VI of Scotland Sophia of Hanover (1630-1714) - German princess who was next in line for the English and Irish thrones after King William III, due to her Protestant faith. Her son, George I, later became the first British monarch from the House of Hanover. Sophia was also a patron of the arts and had intellectual interests.

An 1890s spirit photograph by Robert Boursnell featuring J. H. Evans and a spirit of an Indian girl. Written on the back of the photograph is “Photographs of the Invisible / Obtained by Two Spiritualists in London“ and "Nothing is known of this Spirit. Believed to be an Indian girl. The floor cloth is seen through the sitter's legs.". J. H. Evans (d. 1924) - Spiritualist from Plymouth, England, was known for his participation in a series of spirit photographs with Robert Boursnell. He was a lecturer on Spiritualism and established the Westwell-Street Society.

He contributed articles to Light and Two Worlds and was the author of the book Photographing the Invisible.

An advertisement by Dr. W. M. Keeler in the October 15th, 1900 edition of The Sunflower for his services as a spirit photographer. The advertisement offers mail-order spirit photographs for the price of $2 by submitting a lock of hair or personal picture.

Picture of daughter, with lilies as promised three years before - for identity. Mrs. Coates wanted it known how we should know her, as she passed away as young child. She promised the lilies. Her spirit name being "lily". Mr. Wyllie, knew nothing of Lily. / Identified Portrait James Coates (c. 1927) - British writer on Spiritualism and spirit photography.
