A spirit photograph by Sylvanus W. Fallis that was produced from a sealed photographic plate on July 3rd, 1901 to February 14th, 1902. The photograph was never exposed to light or placed in a camera. The back of the photograph states: "THE BIG FOUR"July 3rd 1901 to Feb. 14th 1902Never exposed to the light.This picture was obtained by the undersigned sitting alone for a period of 7 months with an unbroken box of I dox. 5x7 plates. The other eleven plates were blank.

Written on the back is "Chief Rheamont at Chesterfield, Ind., August 1923, home Warren, Ohio". Chief James Henry Rheamont (1866 - 1969) was a Native American medium and an active participant in the large Spiritualist community at Chesterfield, Indiana. He achieved some national prominence in 1921 when a seance attendee turned on a flashlight while Rheamont was in a trance, leading Rheamont to hit the man with a guitar.
